Jin-my wonderful pet-2

  Jin Dear all,  Recalling incidents from the early days of Jin.   He is now about a year old. The summer time has set in. He makes a crying face at night when we ask him to sleep outdoors. We prepare his bed consisting of an old bamboo mattress, few old clothes (used by us - he likes those) and a square pillow.  O nce I bought him a red rubber tennis ball. We were trying to teach him how to play with it. He took it upstairs. Few other balls he would just try to chew them away. But this one he kept it on his bed upstairs. He was quite possessive.  Dealing with illness Once he fell ill, stopped eating. He was also scratching madly, almost peeling his skin off. So very difficult with pets. He was just collapsing. Finally after a couple of days we consulted a vet. He advised some de-worming tablets. And he gave me some strips free of cost. Looking after street dogs was his hobby.   Jin          Dear All, Wishing to share my joy every day with my pet Jin. Jin is actually a street dog. During the sundry times of covid-19, our great respite. Day One - Jin looked at me from across the road. You can say it was love at first sight.  He came into the family and is with us ever since. There was this wonderful creature moving in the bunch of dogs. Daily when I used to go on my bike we could spot each other out. Actually I was praying to God for some unconditional love.  Jin is a she but we consider as him. One fine day he just walked in. Mom loved him. So attractive, eye-catching, adorable, friendly, naughty. But he was very restless. He has all these friends whom he would love to go out and play with. But mom started feeding him regularly with the leftovers. He used to have them hungrily.  But the first day is so very memorable. He came, we all were sitting in the drawing room watching TV.
