How many munchies treats are safe for dog consumption?
This can only be confirmed by experimentation according to the needs of the particular pet.
We mix some bits with rice & curd or any other curry that we make at home. Any pet would like some of the natural food too. He does consume food nicely when we add the treats. If he is having food in 1/2 kg bowl, we give him 5 to 10 treats maximum. He likes the chicken flavor in particular.
We prefer giving him some chicken boneless chicken pieces usually once in 3 days. He likes them so much; he doesn't take food without these. Same goes with treats. If you over- dose then he wouldn't take any other food.
This could be entirely different for business purpose pets. But for domestic purpose pets above stated is okay according to our experience. The main goal being our pet must enjoy good health.

Our pet was also having severe rashing, ithching, scratching ... We tried home remedies like eating green grass, rice with curd but not very effectual. So tried to approach a vet but really could not take the pet to the shop. Meanwhile, he also was getting loss of appetite, energy loss and just collapsing. Then met a friend who advised de-worming tablets to the full course. We mixed with food and gave. It was very tasteless but somehow he ate. He slept most of the time. 3 days later he was still sleepy, but not that itchy. Then after almost a week, he fully recovered. Up and jumping again. Reduced skin irritations. We stopped the dosage slowly (put half a tablet). After that fully recovered from all skin, appetite probems. Healthy and hale.
